You need to get a new loan, or just draw up a document completely outlining the deal. Then you make payments to him. You need to express any extra interest payments, how things will be handled if you are late paying him, what happens if you pay him for X number of months, how the transfer of the title will happen, and what happens to YOUR money if HE stops making payments. Risky deal so be careful.

No vehicle loan is assumable. Not gonna happen. It may not be possible though to control the type of furniture and office supplies (printer dust, etc.) that tenants bring in. Has anyone been looking into HVAC systems that effectively filter outside pollution (let’s say you’re on a busy intersection) to provide an options of airing the building out whenever possible?

Peter,

Given that HVAC systems engage recirculation of air for as long as they can get away with it (to conserve energy), I see how it is to use paints, furniture, etc. with minimal potentially hazardous emissions. Especially if your going to a trade school. If you plan to attend a college, you have time to decide. Your first two years of any program are basically general education and can lead to any bachelor degree. If your looking for job security, try the health field. Many men do not consider nursing but the pay is good and it is in high demand.

If your going to pay for an education which will lead to a career, I propose making sure it is in a field you will enjoy. I would suggest a defence which only allowed payments of a minor monetary value and have a requirement in the defence similar to that in Australia which requires any facilitation payments paid to be immediately documented. It is my opinion that sectors such as the oil and gas industry would be incapable of operation without such payments. Larger corporations such as BP etc may well have enough strength to overcome the necessity to use them, however smaller corporations I believe will be forced to withdraw from states where facilitation payments are expected to be paid, and thus be placed at a competitive disadvantage.

Surely if facilitation payments are never prosecuted it would be sensible to a defence allowing them in restrictive scenarios? I recommend researching the potential shops that will be doing the work on it. There are a lot of shops and some charge a lot for minimal quality. BTW, that story about the 406 being based off a 352 in 1966 is B.S. The 406 was shelved after being produced for 2 years (1962, 1963) because of the development of the 427.

It could be $10,000 or $30,000.
